Gislingham Silver Band
Gislingham Silver Band was established in 1885.
We are proud to be Suffolk's longest establishedvillage brass band.
The band perform at various concerts, fêtes, garden parties, and other events
during the year.
We are one of the few
marching bands in Suffolk.
Our next engagement is in
28th May 2017
Eye Mayor Making Parade
10.30 - 12.00
The band will lead the parade
from Eye Town Hall
and back again after the service.

Gislingham Silver Band played for the carol service at Thornham Magna.
We were honoured to be in the presence of Mary & Joseph again.
Remembrance Sunday 2016
Gislingham Silver Band were joined by
members of Dickleburgh Sea Scouts Band
Bank Holiday Monday
was the first time many of the training band
had marched and played!
They ALL did brilliantly!!

Planning Permission has been granted
for the new Band Hut.
Soon we will know how much it will cost to build!
We will need support from everyone
to raise the funds to secure
the future of the band and
hopefully encourage many more to join us.
