
Gislingham Silver Band

Gislingham Silver Band was established in 1885.
We are proud to be Suffolk's longest established
village brass band.The band perform at various concerts, fêtes, garden parties, and other events
during the year.
We are one of the few
marching bands in Suffolk.
Our next engagement is
Due to the current restrictions the band
is not meeting until further notice.
(Don't forget to practice EVERY DAY :)
All of our engagements for 2020
will be listed in the Engagements Diary
when the restrictions are lifted.

Gislingham Silver Band appear in the local television reports about
the vandalism at Eye Town Hall.

Gislingham Silver Band played for the carol service at Thornham Magna.
We were honoured to be in the presence of Mary & Joseph again.

Planning Permission has been granted
for the new Band Hut.
Soon we will know how much it will cost to build!
We will need support from everyone
to raise the funds to secure
the future of the band and
hopefully encourage many more to join us.
